The FIS Mechanical Splice is designed around the proven FIS Lab Splice. This new design allow the splice to fit into Fiberlok style trays. The splice can be used as a reusable temporary splice, or as a permanent long-lasting splice (with use of epoxy) on any 125um bare fiber or 125um fiber with a 900um buffer. The Mechanical Splice can be used in both Singlemode or Multimode applications.
